COVID-19 Variants
The FDA has indicated that the sustained increase in SARS-CoV-2 viral variants in the United States that are resistant to bamlanivimab administered alone, the U.S. Government, in coordination with Eli Lilly and Company, stopped the distribution of bamlanivimab alone on March 24, 2021. The FDA recently updated the following:
Authorized Fact Sheet for Healthcare Providers Regarding Emergency Use of bamlanivimab
Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) 90 - bamlanivimab
